You might be thinking this is me right about now:
It’s been a long ass time since I last updated the site. (You know, that whole George Takei thing.) Even longer before that! So much for that at-least-once-a-week-update thing. Where have I been all this time? The answer’s simple: hunched over my bristol board.
Yup, this whole time I’ve been neglecting my web comic because of cartooning.
Wait, that doesn’t make any sense. What the hell?
Yes, I’ve been busy cartooning, working on the next Issue of Jack Butchman, Professional Man of Action. I stopped working on everything else because I wanted to have it out in time for the Bellingham ComiCon. That didn’t happen. I’ll still be going to Bellingham, which is next Saturday, but Sadly I will only have Butchman #1. A big part of why it took longer is Butchman #2 is not only 17.1% larger than #1, but I put a much larger effort into drawing it. (Issue #1 was a tad rough around the edges, admittedly.) I figure if I want to be a professional cartoonist, I need to start acting like it. (Next step, tracing porn!)
If you’re one of the cool kids and like me on Facebook, you would have seen a few teasers for Butchman #2 much like this one.
I was origonaly hoping that, if i couldn’t have it for Bellingham, I could have it for Halloween seing as this is a horror issue. That also didn’t happen. It could have, but It wasn’t worth the express charges.The book was submitted for printing early this morning and is expected to be out November 13th (sadly, not a Friday.)
Anyway, now that that’s out of the way, on to more comics for the site.
